Privacy Policy

Pixmig acts as the controller for customer, account, support, and website data described here. A service provider may separately act as controller for its own regulated or independent purposes.

1. Overview

This policy applies when you visit pixmig.com, create an account, subscribe to messages, contact Pixmig, upload photographs or files, place an order, or otherwise use Pixmig services. It describes the processing Pixmig controls; a linked external service may provide its own privacy notice for processing it independently controls.

Pixmig does not treat visiting the website or accepting the Terms as blanket consent for unrelated direct marketing, advertising cookies, or publication of photographs.

Do not intentionally upload sensitive personal data that is unnecessary for the order. Photographs can reveal sensitive information depending on their content; Pixmig handles them only for the limited purposes described below.

4. Uploaded photos and customer files

You keep ownership of your files. Pixmig processes them to validate, prepare, print, bind, package, deliver, support, and—only where the service is configured for it—allow an authorized reorder or project continuation.

The limited production permission is described in the Terms. Pixmig does not sell customer photographs and does not use them for a portfolio, social media, advertising, facial recognition, or unrelated AI training without a separate, specific permission or another valid legal basis.

You are responsible for having permission to submit photographs of other people. Access is limited to personnel and processors who need the files for production, delivery, support, security, or legally required administration.

5. How we use data

  • provide quotes, accounts, carts, checkout, production, delivery, support, refunds, and order communications;
  • verify payment status, prevent fraud, protect accounts, and secure the service;
  • maintain invoices, tax records, transaction evidence, and other records required by law;
  • diagnose errors, measure and improve the service, and understand aggregate performance where lawful;
  • respond to questions, complaints, privacy requests, disputes, and legal claims;
  • send requested newsletters or direct marketing when there is valid consent, and record an unsubscribe;
  • use optional analytics or advertising tools only after the required cookie consent.

Pixmig does not use personal data for a materially incompatible new purpose without providing the information and obtaining consent where required.

7. Payment data

Payment providers may collect card, bank, authentication, device, and fraud-prevention data directly. Pixmig normally receives confirmation, amount, currency, provider reference, limited payer information, risk or dispute information, and refund status.

Each active payment provider’s checkout and privacy notice explain its independent or processor role. See Secure Payment. Never send a full card number or card security code by email or through a general contact form.

8. Who we may share data with

Pixmig shares only what is reasonably necessary with categories such as:

  • hosting, content delivery, security, backup, email, and technical-support providers;
  • payment, fraud-prevention, accounting, and tax-service providers;
  • production partners acting under instructions where part of making an order;
  • couriers, postal services, customs brokers, and delivery recipients;
  • customer-support, analytics, or advertising providers only when configured and lawful;
  • professional advisers, insurers, courts, regulators, law enforcement, or authorities where legally justified;
  • a buyer or successor in a genuine business transaction, subject to appropriate confidentiality and legal safeguards.

Pixmig does not sell customer photographs or contact lists. Processors are required by contract to use data only for authorized services and apply appropriate security, subject to applicable law.

9. International processing and transfers

Some hosting, payment, email, analytics, delivery, or support providers may process data outside the Republic of North Macedonia or the country where you live. Before a restricted international transfer, Pixmig must use an applicable legal transfer mechanism and appropriate safeguards, and assess supplementary measures where required.

You may request information about the relevant transfer safeguards by emailing info@pixmig.com, subject to necessary confidentiality and security limits.

10. How long we keep data

Pixmig keeps personal data for the shortest period reasonably necessary for the purpose collected and then deletes, anonymizes, or securely restricts it, subject to backup cycles and legal requirements.

  • Orders, invoices, and transaction evidence: for the statutory accounting, tax, consumer, warranty, and claim periods that apply.
  • Customer files and production copies: through active preparation, production, delivery, and support, and longer only where an authorized project or reorder service is actually provided or a dispute/legal hold requires it.
  • Accounts: while active and for a limited period needed for security, order history, claims, and legal records.
  • Support records: for the time needed to resolve and document the request and any related claim.
  • Marketing records: until withdrawal or unsubscribe, with a minimal suppression record retained where needed to respect the choice.
  • Security logs and cookie choices: for limited periods appropriate to security, troubleshooting, or demonstrating a lawful choice.

Backup copies are isolated from ordinary use and age out according to controlled backup schedules unless preservation is legally required.

11. Your privacy rights

Depending on the applicable law and circumstances, you may have rights to information and access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, data portability, and withdrawal of consent. You may also object to direct marketing at any time.

Send a request to info@pixmig.com. Describe the account, order, or data involved. Pixmig may request proportionate information to verify identity and protect data from unauthorized disclosure. Rights can be subject to legal conditions and exceptions; Pixmig will explain a refusal or limitation where required.

Right to complainYou may lodge a complaint with the Agency for Personal Data Protection of the Republic of North Macedonia. If another supervisory authority has jurisdiction where you live, work, or the issue occurred, you may also contact that authority.

12. Cookies and tracking

Necessary browser storage supports requested features such as security, sessions, carts, checkout, and remembered privacy choices. Optional personal-data cookies and similar tools for analytics or advertising require prior consent where applicable. See the Cookie Policy for categories and controls.

13. Security

Pixmig uses organizational and technical safeguards appropriate to the nature and risk of the data, which may include access controls, encrypted transport, maintained software, backups, logging, provider due diligence, and limited staff access. No internet service can guarantee absolute security.

If you suspect unauthorized account use, a misdirected order, or a security problem, contact info@pixmig.com promptly. Do not send payment-card security codes or account passwords.

14. Children

Pixmig’s online account and purchasing service is intended for adults able to enter into an agreement. Pixmig does not knowingly ask children to create accounts or submit orders independently.

A customer album may legitimately contain photographs of children. The adult customer is responsible for having authority to submit those photographs, and Pixmig processes them only for the limited order purposes described in this policy. Contact Pixmig if you believe a child submitted personal data without appropriate authorization.

15. Changes to this policy

Pixmig may update this policy when its services, providers, legal obligations, or processing change. The current version and date will be published here. Where required, Pixmig will provide a more prominent notice or request a new consent before a materially different consent-based purpose begins.

16. Contact
